The
following will guide you through configuring Eudora so you can receive
email through your Guernsey.Net connection.
To
complete this set-up you will need your username, password and email address
to hand. These can be found on your initial invoice sent by Guernsey.Net.
If you do not know where this is please call our technical support team
on 727799.
- Select
"Tools" from
the main menu
- Select
"Options"
from the drop down menu.
- In
the "Options"
window select "Getting
Started" from the left hand menu.

Complete
the following
- Real
name :Your
full name
- Return Address : username@guernsey.net
(please ensure this is typed in lowercase characters)
- Mail Server (Incoming) : post.guernsey.net
- Login Name : your username
- SMTP Server (Outgoing) : post.guernsey.net
- ensure there is a tick in Allow authentication
Now
select the "Internet Dialup"
category and you will be presented with the following window :

In this
window complete the following information :
- Select "Have eudora connect using Dial-up networking"
- Select your Guernsey.Net dial-up from the "Entry" drop down menu
Finally click OK to save your settings, your software is now configured for Guernsey.Net!
