Guernsey.Net will be launching its new, very competitively priced, feature rich ADSL service in the near future, to compliment its existing range of internet connectivity packages. There has been some confusion regarding the announced launch of ADSL by Cable & Wireless. Hopefully this will answer some of those questions. Cable & Wireless Guernsey have announced the launch of ADSL for the Bailiwick within the next few weeks. As yet there are no packages available for Internet connectivity for ADSL customers. This means that the current packages announced by Cable & Wireless Guernsey will not allow you to connect to the internet, the prices quoted are for the physical lines only. To connect you will have to purchase an additional service from an Internet Service Provider such as ourselves. The pricing for the new service will be released as soon as possible. Guernsey.Net is improving on the traditional ISP model, and is now delivering web based services by subscription. You don't have to have a dial-up account to take advantage of our new offerings, in fact the structure of the World Wide Web is such that we do have the ability to provide services based in Guernsey to clients all over the world. Actually, we are at last taking advantage of the very services that we offer to our web hosting customers. If you are a regular visitor to the Guernsey.Net home page, you will notice that we are promoting new services, i.e. Ifolder, iPass, web enhanced email along with calendaring services. These new services will become available to Guernsey.Net users over the next 6 weeks. Guernsey.Net has been improving its technical infrastructure to enable it to cope with the new services that will be made available throughout this coming year. We have created alliances with companies that are providing the tested, proven systems that we hope will benefit our users and will complement and enhance our own offerings. |
