Credit card rules require a secure system in place between the purchaser and the merchant. An independent Payment Service Provider provides this system in return for a nominal transaction fee. The Payment Service Provider will ensure that any information transmitted via the Internet will be properly encrypted to protect your client. The Payment Service Provider will also verify the validity of the card details prior to any transaction taking place and request authorization from the client's card issuer. Once this has been completed, it will then be arranged for the transfer of funds between the relevant accounts.
