Description - A tall plant up to 1m high, with slender, stiffly branched stems, bearing small white or pale lilac flowers with three petals. The leaves at the base are oval, and slightly reminiscent of Greater Plantain leaves, thus the name.

Comments - Water Plantain is rather rare and declining as its habitat decreases.
