Description - This grass has spikes that look like those of Barren Brome, Anisantha sterilis, but they are erect and not drooping.
Habitat - In a few places round the coast, partuclarly at L'Erée, and in Sark. It lives in well drained soil on sand dunes or cliff edges.
Comments - This plant is regarded as a native in the Channel Islands and in a few places in SW England. Elsewhere in England it is a casual of waste places and believed to be introduced.
