|Apium graveolens||Apiaceae||Wild Celery|
Description - The stems of this plant bear small umbels of white flowers in June, and leaves are glossy green and very similar to those of the Celery we eat. All parts of the plant have the Celery taste and scent.
Habitat - Wild Celery is restricted to very damp areas, and can tolerate salty or brackish conditions.
Comments - A rare plant in Guernsey, its main station being at the bottom of the stream which runs onto the beach at Moulin Huet, with a couple of other records for similar habitats.
