Juncus capitatus nnkb

Description - A minute rush sometimes only 3 or 4mm tall.

Habitat - Found in grassland on the cliffs and in coastal areas in the north of the island

Comments - This is not rare but it is hard to find as it is so small. It flowers in April and May. Guernsey was the first place this plant was found in the British Isles in 1780. In Britain it is only found around the Lizard and in Anglesey.
