Description - This plant has a short, oval shaped head of tiny yellow pea-flowers, the whole plant being lower-growing than Tall or White Melilot (M. officinalis and M. albus) although leaves the same; trefoil and minutely toothed.
Habitat - It grows in waste land, and sandy, poor soil, so is frequent around the coast, but also found inland.
Comments - A plant that will have come here in seed mixtures, and is widespread, though not common.
