Le Trepied Dolmen

Le Trepied - Passage Grave.

Situated on the crest of the Catioroc, south of La Croix Martin coast road, Perelle. This is a bottle-shaped megalithic chamber with slab walls and three surviving capstones. No certain trace of a mound or kerb survives. Excavations by Lukis in 1840 produced human bones, Beaker and other pottery, and two flint barbed and tanged arrowheads.
