The Guernsey Blind Association is a charity to assist the Visually Impaired of the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

The Objectives of the Guernsey Blind Association are to care for the Welfare and Requirements of the Visually Impaired within the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

What the Guernsey Blind Association can offer you;

A Resource Centre equipped with many items of equipment to help with daily living; watches, talking clocks, guide canes, kitchen equipment, writing guides, talking jugs, microwaves and kitchen scales.

We stock a large selection of different Magnifiers with or without illumination, on stands or handheld.

Desk lamps with and without additional magnification with daylight bulbs.

Weekly handcraft and social afternoons at the Centre. We make soft toys, knit squares to make into blankets and other different fun activities.

The healing Music Trust bring over from the UK many different musical acts that perform at the Centre, ranging from pianists, singers, keyboard players and guitarists.

The news from around the Island is recorded weekly onto cassettes and then distrbuted to those unable to read the Guernsey Press, so they can keep up to date with what is going on in Island life.

Loan cassette players are available for receiving the Weekly news and also for our Listening for Pleasure Library Service.

We supply large office systems for those in work e.g. CCTV systems and Computer software.

Financial assistance when required.

Promote educational and social activities.
