Some people are perfectly content with just one kite, but some of us are
driven to just keep on buying! The biggest, fastest, trickiest, newest, best!
There are kites for high winds, kites for low winds, kites for no wind at all!
Kites for ballet, kites for precision, kites for raw power, kites for fighting ...
Big kites, little kites, fast kites, slow kites ... kites that don't fly any more.
Kites from factories, kites from workshops, kites from your own back room!
But above all, there are MY KITES!

The A List kites all live together in 'the large black bag', which is the mainstay of my kiting equipment. It holds all my line sets, handles and stakes (mostly old tent-pegs, some with a golf-ball on top for visibility), waterproofs, night-flying lights, and usually a fairly large collection of sands from the various beaches on Guernsey. These kites are the ones I'm most likely to have with me at any given moment. It should be noted that this bag only just fits across the back of the car, diagonally with one of the back seats folded down. |

The B list kites live in my old kite bag, the 'medium sized green' one. When on extended leave (such as at a kite festival somewhere) this bag will just fit inside the 'large black one', with all its normal complement of kites as well! My quad kites live in here, as I'm currently more keen on two lines. |

The Hell Stack is a rainbow stack of seven Hell Cat kites, and gets its own carry tube, although the kites are just fractionally longer than the tube and I can't put the top on! The ProSpeeds live in a plastic bag, because I'm thinking of selling them and don't wish to take them out flying any more. The Baby Tana looks great, but I don't find it a very good flyer (it's a mini kite) and prefer the Neutrino and Mini Cat, so it lives on the wall of the office. The fighter kites live in a nice flat box, that should be used for an artwork portfolio. |
