We live in a 160 year old granite built cottage in the heart of Guernsey.
John has been here since 1970 when he and his first partner bought it in a derelict condition.
Brendan joined John here in 1992. There is a fairly large garden that keeps him busy in the summer evenings.
We added a conservatory about 10 years ago otherwise the cottage is basically unaltered.
This last winter we built a greenhouse in the garden so we can grow more of our own plants
