Budapest- Operational target for the night of June 25/26 1944. Clearly shows Margaret Island on the River Danube which runs through the centre of the city.
Some of the farthest and most heavily defended targets of 205 Group, were the Rumanian oil fields,  Campina was such a target. 43 aircraft attacked it on the night of May 5th 1944.  3 Failed to return.

Fiume. My return to Ops also took on a new phase, Daylight raids. Quite different to night bombing, the picture shows an attack by 71 aircraft on February 15th at 2,30 pm on the Navel Base and oil storage tanks.
